My Mom Moved to Orlando

When my father died, it was a hard time for all of us. My mom is the one who suffered the most though, obviously. She was all alone in Pennsylvania, and her grief was just overwhelming. My wife and I live in Orlando with our four children, and I knew that Mom would feel much better being closer to us here. I started looking at Orlando Florida apartments because I knew that she would never agree to move in with us. She is much too independent for that, even with how grief stricken she was.

I found an apartment complex that is only a few miles from us, and I knew that she would like it too. I did not do this right after the funeral, of course. I gave her time, but she was still not herself a year later. That is when I started looking for the solution, and I knew I had found it with this apartment complex. I sent Mom the link, and then I asked her if she would like to live closer to us so she could see her grandchildren more than twice a year.

She really liked the apartment complex, and she knew that it would do her good to be closer to the rest of her family. Honestly, it was a good move for us too, because we have missed her tremendously since moving here for my job. She looked at the layouts of the different apartments and submitted her application for one of the one bedroom units that has a balcony. It did not take long to sell her house in Pennsylvania, and we had her moved here within a month of her looking at the apartment’s website. I have seen her coming back to life since moving here, and it is so good to have her back!
